In the 7th minute Carlo Witt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keenan Gilbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Kildonan's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Souplet came free, but Keenan Gilbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Carlo Witt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millerton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Witt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. August Marsh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keenan Gilbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Witt in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Pablo Morton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kildonan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millerton the free kick. In the 29th minute Kyle Souplet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keenan Gilbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everett Humphrey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shawn Cole. Millerton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kyle Souplet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlo Witt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kyle Souplet came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Millerton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Souplet couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Carlo Witt made the kick off in the second half. Frances Chapman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Shawn Cole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Marsh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Shawn Cole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Marsh in the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Carlo Witt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millerton's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Witt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keenan Gilbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Witt in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keenan Gilbert saved Kildonan from getting behind. Kyle Souplet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Keenan Gilbert made a huge save. Keenan Gilbert stood somewhat misplaced when Carlo Witt came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 65 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Witt in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keenan Gilbert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kyle Souplet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keenan Gilbert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kyle Souplet in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes Kildonan got a freekick which was hit by Frances Chapman. If Pablo Morton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kildonan's Keenan Gilbert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Kildonan from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Millerton could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kildonan throughout the match.
