In the 8th minute Mitchell Storey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tod Yost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skiff's Tod Yost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christophe Potter in the 19th minute of play. Mitchell Storey scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tod Yost, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christophe Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Christophe Potter came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Duvernay FC fans jumped to their feet. Tod Yost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Christophe Potter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skiff's Tod Yost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christophe Potter in the 37th minute of play. Tod Yost came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Duvernay FC's Christophe Potter. But to his dismay, Christophe Potter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tod Yost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitchell Storey in the 46th minute of the match. Martin Page sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Page made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Martin Page ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Terry Baxter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Terry Baxter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Booker Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Booker Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Terry Baxter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Ducharme hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Duvernay FC's King Barrow tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Duvernay FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Skiff a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfred Ducharme, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Duvernay FC's Terry Baxter. 2-2. When Jon Bean fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skiff's protests and gave Jon Bean a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Skiff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Bean to maneuver through the defense. Mitchell Storey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Martin Page shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Baxter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Skiff getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Freddy Woodruff hit a great ball. Skiff's Booker Rubio got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christophe Potter was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Skiff's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mitchell Storey 99 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3.
