Peterbell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petrolia AFC the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Peterbell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertram Baron to maneuver through the defense. Nathaniel Pittman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theirn Dougherty's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Nathaniel Pittman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
