Bickerdike AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Earle Wood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guy Brandt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freeman Larivière read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Freeman Larivière took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Reeves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Benton Jolly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Gilles Leary sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arden Monroe skillfully saved the ball. Kangerthialuksoak's Arden Monroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Fréchette in the 25th minute of play. Earle Wood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arden Monroe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kangerthialuksoak getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Darrel Sadler hit a great ball. Arden Monroe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Fréchette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guy Brandt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Freeman Larivière when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Freeman Larivière made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guy Brandt in the 37th minute. Sergio Armstrong kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Gilles Leary was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arden Monroe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earle Wood in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Reeves made a kick off. Arden Monroe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Fréchette in the 52nd minute of play. Freeman Larivière took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guy Brandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Benton Jolly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Reeves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kangerthialuksoak's Guy Brandt got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bickerdike AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Basile Christian hit a great ball. Guy Brandt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freeman Larivière having to make a save. Lothaire Dominguez hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Lindsey Ring shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freeman Larivière showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Karl Fréchette notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kangerthialuksoak's Arden Monroe. Arden Monroe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bickerdike AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
