Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Skiff's Martin Page started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute Herbert Salinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tod Yost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Shearer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Yost having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Lorenzo Wallace mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chipman and the Skiff players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Lorenzo Wallace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Skiff's Alfred Ducharme couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chipman. In the 22nd match minute, Chipman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seymour Lacy to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Booker Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skiff's supporters rose to their feet, but Booker Rubio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paris Desilets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Shearer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tod Yost made a huge save. Skiff's Booker Rubio got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Ducharme shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Chipman's Paris Desilets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Page in the 36th minute of play. Booker Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Desilets having to interfere. Paris Desilets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Page, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Lorenzo Wallace got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Chipman's Lorenzo Wallace got a free kick in the 40th minute. Benjamin Shearer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Benjamin Shearer made the kick off in the second half. Chipman's Paris Desilets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Page in the 52nd minute of play. Paris Desilets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Page, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chipman's zone, Martin Page stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paris Desilets came out of the goal and Martin Page tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Booker Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Booker Rubio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Paris Desilets skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Booker Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tod Yost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Shearer in the 72nd minute of the match. Martin Page fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Desilets having to interfere. Chipman's Paris Desilets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Page in the 82nd minute of play. If Benjamin Shearer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chipman booed when Skiff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Bean didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Skiff's zone, Benjamin Shearer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tod Yost came out of the goal and Benjamin Shearer tried to chip the ball over his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Page in the 97th minute of play forced Chipman's goalkeeper Paris Desilets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
