Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacques Dozier took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes, Pablo Loyd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verona and the Suffield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pablo Loyd kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Verona's Kent Rush nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taylor Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 19 minutes, Rubin Starks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suffield and the Verona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rubin Starks kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Verona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Loyd to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes Verona got a freekick which was hit by Truman Séguin. Marcelino Hustons short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Stanton Beard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Martin Meza hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Stanton Beard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacques Dozier in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Verona getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Martin Britton hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davis Huber during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Suffield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Verona:s goal. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Verona. Rene Bray stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Taylor Dias. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jacques Dozier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stanton Beard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Marcelino Huston made a precise shot to the right of Stanton Beard. Verona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Stanton Beard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Huston's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Stanton Beard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Huston in the 76th minute of the match. Stanton Beard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Huston in the 80th minute of play. Stanton Beard came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Suffield's Marcelino Huston. But to his dismay, Marcelino Huston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Martin Meza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Verona booed when Suffield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Crisp didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Kent Rush sped through Suffield's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Taylor Dias. 97 minutes into the match, Verona's goal looked a bit too open when Jacques Dozier came free, but Stanton Beard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Verona players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
