In the 42ndth minute of the game Karl Fréchette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skiff's Tod Yost was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quentin Hall during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Freeman Larivière made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Booker Rubio in the 84th minute of play. Tod Yost stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl Fréchette's shot from short distance in the 88th minute.
