Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacques Dozier got the match started through his kick off. Taylor Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mitchell Storey's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Guy Hendricks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suffield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duvernay FC the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Suffield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Hendricks to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Mitchell Storey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Taylor Dias. The goal made the score 1-0. With an all-out effort, Duvernay FC's Taylor Dias threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mitchell Storey, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Christophe Potter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Taylor Dias made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Mitchell Storey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duvernay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mitchell Storey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taylor Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacques Dozier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terry Baxter having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Jacques Dozier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duvernay FC's Terry Baxter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Taylor Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Storey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Suffield's zone, Mitchell Storey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taylor Dias came out of the goal and Mitchell Storey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Oren Joyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mitchell Storey to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Christophe Potter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taylor Dias was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Duvernay FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacques Dozier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 75 minutes into the match, Marcelino Huston notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Duvernay FC's Terry Baxter. Terry Baxter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mitchell Storey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taylor Dias having to interfere. Duvernay FC's Christophe Potter got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Suffield's goal looked a bit too open when Mitchell Storey came free, but Taylor Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Duvernay FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Suffield had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
