Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl Fréchette started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Karl Fréchette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Desilets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Shearer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Freeman Larivière tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freeman Larivière made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Shearer in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Fréchette in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paris Desilets saved Chipman from getting behind. Paris Desilets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Fréchette in the 29th minute of play. Karl Fréchette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paris Desilets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Fréchette in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Karl Fréchette notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chipman's Paris Desilets. Paris Desilets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl Fréchette struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Paris Desilets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bickerdike AFC. Karl Fréchette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Herbert Salinas made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Shearer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freeman Larivière having to make a save. If Karl Fréchette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Gilles Leary hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes Chipman got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Salinas. Ambrose Newsome kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Earle Wood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Desilets having to interfere. In the 81st minute Karl Fréchette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Desilets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Salinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Fréchette in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paris Desilets saved Chipman from getting behind. Chipman's Paris Desilets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Chipman from getting a goal against them. When Ambrose Newsome fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bickerdike AFC's protests and gave Ambrose Newsome a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Karl Fréchette fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Paris Desilets, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Bickerdike AFC booed when Chipman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Gardner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Earle Wood spun around in front of the goal 96 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Chipman's goal. Bickerdike AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
