Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Chipman's Herbert Salinas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paris Desilets was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Mitchell Storey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mitchell Storey really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Benjamin Shearer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Herbert Salinas sped through Duvernay FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Terry Baxter. In the 19th minute Mitchell Storey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Desilets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chipman booed when Duvernay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Roberson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benjamin Shearer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Baxter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Salinas in the 25th minute of play. If Herbert Salinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Duvernay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Salinas came free, but Terry Baxter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paris Desilets came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Duvernay FC's Mitchell Storey. But to his dismay, Mitchell Storey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Duvernay FC booed when Chipman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seymour Lacy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mitchell Storey received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paris Desilets came out and tried to block the shot, but Mitchell Storey slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 53rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Salinas in the 62nd minute of play forced Duvernay FC's goalkeeper Terry Baxter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Marcel Gardner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, Duvernay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Aucoin to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Salinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chipman's Herbert Salinas got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Benjamin Shearer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Salinas in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Terry Baxter saved Duvernay FC from getting behind. 78 minutes into the game, Marin Laberge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Duvernay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chipman the free kick. Marin Laberge hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Herbert Salinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Terry Baxter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paris Desilets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Marin Laberge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claude Roberson hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Lyle Tate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 100th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Terry Baxter. Duvernay FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chipman's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Duvernay FC had won, even though Chipman had held more of the ball.
