With his leg Stanton Beard managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Klukshu AFC's Pons Tracy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 20 played minutes Verona got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Frappier. Keven Brunelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Rush, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Britton in the 31st minute of play forced Klukshu AFC's goalkeeper Keven Brunelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Klukshu AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Shane Guy hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Kent Rush managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Rush was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pons Tracy struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Stanton Beard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klukshu AFC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pons Tracy to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Esmé Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Klukshu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verona the free kick. Esmé Castro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of Klukshu AFC booed when Verona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Blevins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pons Tracy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanton Beard having to make a save. Martin Britton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esmé Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Stanton Beard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanton Beard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pons Tracy, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 74 minutes of play, Klukshu AFC's Pons Tracy made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanton Beard was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Verona defense, Pons Tracy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanton Beard. The Verona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanton Beard should have stopped the shot. If Esmé Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Martin Meza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Esmé Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Verona's zone, Pons Tracy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanton Beard came out of the goal and Pons Tracy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klukshu AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
