The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lyle Tate during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lyle Tate hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Brandt in the 16th minute of play forced Chipman's goalkeeper Paris Desilets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristofer Billings struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Paris Desilets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kangerthialuksoak. Benjamin Shearer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arden Monroe having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Kangerthialuksoak's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Salinas came free, but Arden Monroe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristofer Billings could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Paris Desilets made a huge save. Kristofer Billings might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paris Desilets. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristofer Billings ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Paris Desilets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Guy Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Paris Desilets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristofer Billings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute of the match Kangerthialuksoak got a corner. Chipman's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lindsey Ring ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kangerthialuksoak's Lindsey Ring was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paris Desilets in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benjamin Shearer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chipman's Paris Desilets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Brandt in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Guy Brandt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Desilets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Salinas in the 78th minute of play forced Kangerthialuksoak's goalkeeper Arden Monroe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Paris Desilets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Chipman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Wallace to maneuver through the defense. Paris Desilets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristofer Billings in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Benjamin Shearer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guy Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Desilets having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
