Cobourg FC's Clinton Stovall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Huard in the 4th minute of play. Roch Acosta struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Elton Perrault didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobourg FC. Ignace Paquette, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 11th match minute, Cobourg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Newton Rowell to maneuver through the defense. Roch Acosta got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 14th match minute before Elton Perrault had time to react. Clinton Stovall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Huard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Cobourg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Newton Rowell to maneuver through the defense. If Virgilio Obrien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Rogelio Huard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Luceville FC's zone, Laverne Stevens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elton Perrault came out of the goal and Laverne Stevens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roch Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the game, Luceville FC's Clay House nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clinton Stovall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cobourg FC's goalkeeper Clinton Stovall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roch Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Elton Perrault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laverne Stevens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elton Perrault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laverne Stevens in the 52nd minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Ignace Paquette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cobourg FC and the Luceville FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Cobourg FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Luceville FC:s goal. Clinton Stovall went to the wrong direction when Stanley Montoya was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Clinton Stovall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clay House, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clay House recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roch Acosta kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogelio Huard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clinton Stovall. That made the score 2-2 in the 70 minute of play. Rogelio Huard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Huard got free with Clinton Stovall in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 100 minutes into the match, Virgilio Obrien dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clinton Stovall, 2-3. The Cobourg FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Luceville FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Luceville FC.
