Trent Charette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrell Levine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trent Charette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Herrington in the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dean Austin got free with Hai Haskins in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Killarney's Trent Charette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Herrington in the 25th minute of play. Israel Thomason struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Hai Haskins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killarney. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Willet's goalkeeper Hai Haskins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dean Austin got free with Hai Haskins in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Killarney booed when Willet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrell Levine didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Willet's zone, Dean Austin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hai Haskins came out of the goal and Dean Austin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dean Austin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Killarney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dean Austin couldn't finish the play. Dean Austin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trent Charette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Floyd Barker's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felton Rochefort during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 49th minute, Felton Rochefort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Floyd Barker to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Killarney's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Terrell Levine fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 62 minutes, Troy Crowell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Willet and the Killarney players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Willet got a freekick which was hit by Troy Crowell. Killarney's Israel Thomason got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dean Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willet's Hai Haskins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Thomason in the 69th minute of play. Dean Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hai Haskins having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Dean Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killarney's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dean Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Willet defense, Dean Austin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hai Haskins. The Willet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hai Haskins should have stopped the shot. Hai Haskins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Austin in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Willet's zone, Israel Thomason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hai Haskins came out of the goal and Israel Thomason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trent Charette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Floyd Barker, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Dean Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Killarney getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jamal Desaulniers hit a great ball. When Willet's Floyd Barker, in the 95th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Willet. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Floyd Barker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Willet's supporters rose to their feet, but Floyd Barker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trent Charette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
