The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Luceville FC's goalkeeper Elton Perrault had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dewitt Jobin. 8 minutes into the game, Grant Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luceville FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woodlands F.C the free kick. Grant Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Luceville FC's zone, Aimé Tidwell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elton Perrault came out of the goal and Aimé Tidwell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elton Perrault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimé Tidwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Dewitt Jobin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elton Perrault having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Luceville FC's Virgilio Obrien got a free kick in the 18th minute. Elton Perrault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aimé Tidwell in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clay House in the 23rd minute of play forced Woodlands F.C's goalkeeper Adam Zimmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Woodlands F.C got a corner. Luceville FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernest Bériault ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Rogelio Huard fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luceville FC's protests and gave Rogelio Huard a yellow card for diving instead. Rogelio Huard hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Aimé Tidwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Clay House shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Zimmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dewitt Jobin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Woodlands F.C's Stanton Denton was substituted for Ernest Bériault. Aimé Tidwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Elton Perrault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Woodlands F.C made a substitution. Adam Coupart replaced Oren Barber. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Huard got free with Adam Zimmer in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st match minute, Woodlands F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todd Fluet to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Huard kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Luceville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dewitt Jobin came free, but Elton Perrault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Coupart kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Stanley Montoya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Zimmer skillfully saved the ball. After 77 played minutes Luceville FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Huard. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jessie Arpin in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elton Perrault saved Luceville FC from getting behind. Dewitt Jobin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luceville FC's Elton Perrault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jessie Arpin in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Jessie Arpin made a precise shot to the right of Elton Perrault. Luceville FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dewitt Jobin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elton Perrault having to make a save. Luceville FC's Elton Perrault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dewitt Jobin in the 92nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dewitt Jobin in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elton Perrault prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Woodlands F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
