The supporters of Cobourg FC booed when Willet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garry Fair didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Garry Fair in the 14th minute really tested Clinton Stovall's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Floyd Barker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roch Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hai Haskins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Laverne Stevens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Roch Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Willet's Hai Haskins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Terrell Levine hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Clinton Stovall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Herrington in the 40th minute.
