Spectators: 6743 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wilson Newman took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Léon Presley came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Roberval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léon Presley couldn't finish the play. Nicolas Kearns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Johns having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Kearns in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Werner Johns saved Roberval from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Kearns in the 28th minute of play forced Roberval's goalkeeper Werner Johns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Nicolas Kearns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Doyles's goalkeeper Stéphane Boisclair had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léon Presley. Marc Moser hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Cruz made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léon Presley in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stéphane Boisclair prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rodrigo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberval's Werner Johns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Roberval from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Roberval's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Cruz came free, but Werner Johns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stéphane Boisclair showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Newman in the 66th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Roberval's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nicolas Kearns fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Doyles's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Newman came free, but Stéphane Boisclair reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Kearns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
