The nice shot from Marion Miles in the 20thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Trey Fecteau had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After having played for 21 minutes, Marion Miles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penetanguishene AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marion Miles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ulysses Choi came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Penetanguishene AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulysses Choi couldn't finish the play. Ulysses Choi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trey Fecteau came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulysses Choi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. Lindsey Leach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Winfred Chalut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulysses Choi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Trey Fecteau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penetanguishene AFC. 38 minutes into the match, Dugwal AFC's goalkeeper Trey Fecteau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marion Miles. Winfred Chalut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Vera in the 39th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulysses Choi made a kick off. Tom Vera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winfred Chalut having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lindsey Leach in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winfred Chalut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Dugwal AFC booed when Penetanguishene AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devon Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindsey Leach in the 55th minute of play forced Penetanguishene AFC's goalkeeper Winfred Chalut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes in the game, Lindsey Leach fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Winfred Chalut having to interfere. When Tom Vera got free in front of the goal in the 58th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Winfred Chalut was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
