Willy Paquette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pentypool. Willy Paquette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léonard Archambault's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Willy Paquette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léonard Archambault in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Léonard Archambault had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willy Paquette. Codette's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Léonard Archambault was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

Francisco Faust scored 1-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hollis Swartz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Codette's Francisco Faust sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hollis Swartz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blake Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Paquette having to interfere. Léonard Archambault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Pentypool's Blake Bernal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willy Paquette made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 90 minutes into the match, Pentypool's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Faust came free, but Hollis Swartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Francisco Faust managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Codette's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Faust was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 95 minutes on the clock, Joseph Bertrand commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The Pentypool supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pentypool would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
