Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elvin Couturier kicked off to start the match. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Chester Shultz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, one of Gooderham:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chester Shultz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Herb Ricard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elroy Huynh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Herb Ricard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, Chester Shultz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herb Ricard. Gooderham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chester Shultz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Herb Ricard came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bellin FC's Elroy Huynh. But to his dismay, Elroy Huynh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Chester Shultz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Bellin FC's Chester Shultz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herb Ricard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Chester Shultz in the 56th minute of play forced Gooderham's goalkeeper Herb Ricard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gooderham booed when Bellin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elroy Huynh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rupert Stein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chester Shultz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Herb Ricard 64 minutes into the match. Chester Shultz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herb Ricard having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gooderham's goalkeeper Herb Ricard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elroy Huynh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herb Ricard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chester Shultz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Herb Ricard was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Chester Shultz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chester Shultz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Elroy Huynh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herb Ricard having to interfere. When the match was over Bellin FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gooderham throughout the match.
