Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lawrence Kenney started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Bend booed when Gooderham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Davila didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lawrence Kenney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrod Brower kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perceval Dean in the 23rd minute of play forced Gooderham's goalkeeper Herb Ricard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rupert Stein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Dong Cornell made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Rupert Stein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gooderham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rupert Stein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Dong Cornell made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Elvin Couturier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perceval Dean struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Herb Ricard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bend. In the 38th minute, Lawrence Kenney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gooderham's zone, Perceval Dean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herb Ricard came out of the goal and Perceval Dean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lawrence Kenney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bend's supporters rose to their feet, but Lawrence Kenney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herb Ricard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvin Couturier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dong Cornell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvin Couturier to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Nickolas Butts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gooderham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bend the free kick. Nickolas Butts kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Bend's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Stein came free, but Dong Cornell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvin Couturier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dong Cornell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Stein in the 65th minute of play. Elvin Couturier scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dong Cornell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Rupert Stein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lawrence Kenney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute Elvin Couturier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dong Cornell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Gooderham were awarded a corner. Clinton Lester went to the cornerflag to take it. Herb Ricard came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Bend's Perceval Dean. But to his dismay, Perceval Dean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gooderham were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bend for a fine match.
