The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Shere's Marlon Rossi got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Tristan Waddell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Elroy Huynh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elroy Huynh struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Buddy Lancaster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bellin FC. After a defensive mix-up in Shere's zone, Elroy Huynh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Buddy Lancaster came out of the goal and Elroy Huynh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Richards during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shere fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Elroy Huynh got free with Buddy Lancaster in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elroy Huynh in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Buddy Lancaster, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elroy Huynh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Buddy Lancaster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buddy Lancaster was a little too slow when Chester Shultz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 64th minute, Edgar Robillard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Robillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Weldon Donnelly came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Shere's Tristan Waddell. But to his dismay, Tristan Waddell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 76thth minute of the game Chester Shultz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shere's Buddy Lancaster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Elroy Huynh got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Chester Shultz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Lancaster having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shere's goalkeeper Buddy Lancaster, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chester Shultz succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. Joel Richards kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
