The supporters of Causapscal booed when Tudhope was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Langlais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Whalen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cody Mayes having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Tudhope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Doucet to maneuver through the defense. If Ferdinand Langlais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Steward in the 22nd minute of play forced Causapscal's goalkeeper Terry Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Causapscal's goalkeeper Terry Carmona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Causapscal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Terry Carmona should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Clément Rowland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Causapscal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tudhope were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Whalen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kelly Rushing kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Francisco Whalen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cody Mayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
