An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Whalen in the 8th minute of play forced Aldouane's goalkeeper Malcom Childs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyson Brisebois hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Aldouane's zone, Cory Russ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcom Childs came out of the goal and Cory Russ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cory Russ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trevor Ballard hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Aldouane's goalkeeper Malcom Childs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cory Russ. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Gustafson in the 27th minute of play forced Causapscal's goalkeeper Terry Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malcom Childs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cory Russ showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, one of Causapscal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Anibal McClain walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Malcom Childs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Whalen in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Causapscal's Francisco Whalen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Terry Carmona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Gustafson in the 49th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Andres Gustafson came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Aldouane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Gustafson couldn't finish the play. Terry Carmona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shelby Bruce in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Aldouane's Trevor Ballard got a free kick in the 56th minute. The Aldouane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Malcom Childs should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute of the match Clément Rowland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malcom Childs skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Causapscal's Terry Carmona got control of the ball when Shelby Bruce tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Aldouane's Shelby Bruce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Terry Carmona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Causapscal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aldouane had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
