An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Rudd in the 13th minute of play forced Fortune FC's goalkeeper Edwardo Street to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rueben Chadwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edwardo Street tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwardo Street showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rueben Chadwick in the 24th minute of the match. Brooks Quinones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrell Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buster Bunch, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With his leg Tyrell Murillo managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Fortune FC's Brooks Quinones fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Buster Bunch kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Freddy Rudd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Edwardo Street tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Rueben Chadwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwardo Street saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwardo Street made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Rudd in the 49th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Rudd to make the kick off. If Rueben Chadwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwardo Street made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Watson in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brooks Quinones in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tyrell Murillo saved Schuler from getting behind. Rueben Chadwick might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edwardo Street. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rueben Chadwick ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Rudd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwardo Street having to interfere. Fortune FC's Maurice Scott got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chester Villa during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes Schuler got a freekick which was hit by Wayne Thomson. Edwardo Street stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Rudd's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Freddy Rudd reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edwardo Street. The goal made the score 0-2.
