The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herbert Bowling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yong Leon in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Bowling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clemente Stockton's late challenge caught a Beatty AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Stockton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Wiseton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Stockton to maneuver through the defense. Alphonse Ray hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Yong Leon scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Bowling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gervais Faubert kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Zachariah Woodson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tommy Laframboise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beatty AFC's goalkeeper Herbert Bowling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sheldon Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zachariah Woodson was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sheldon Berger in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Laframboise saved Wiseton AFC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis McMahon got free with Herbert Bowling in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
