They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by François Spaulding in the 52nd minute of play forced Qausuittuq AFC's goalkeeper Elvis Lafontaine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Qausuittuq AFC's zone, François Spaulding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Qausuittuq AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Resolution were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
