Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Levi Bernier got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Levi Bernier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chauncey Borden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chauncey Borden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levi Bernier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kerry Charlesbois's late challenge caught a Bridgewater AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kerry Charlesbois helped the player get up and apologised. Del Guillory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Winters having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Levi Bernier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chauncey Borden. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Del Guillory managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanguard's supporters rose to their feet, but Del Guillory was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacques Winters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bridgewater AFC's Tobias Lange got a free kick in the 29th minute. Valentin Cyr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Del Guillory stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacques Winters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Del Guillory in the 53rd minute. Jim Lyons hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Levi Bernier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Isidro Walter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levi Bernier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chauncey Borden having to make a save. Tobias Lange struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Chauncey Borden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgewater AFC. In the 73rd minute, Kerry Charlesbois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th play minute Valentin Cyr came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacques Winters. 2-2. After 82 minutes, Harris Prater mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bridgewater AFC and the Vanguard players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harris Prater hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Jerold Lloyd struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jacques Winters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanguard. Tobias Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Del Guillory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jacques Winters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
