After a defensive mix-up in Sundown FC's zone, Stacey Hemphill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noé Stuart came out of the goal and Stacey Hemphill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mckinley Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Freeman Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daryl Corbett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sundown FC's Noé Stuart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stacey Hemphill in the 40th minute of play. Lynn Bravo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Noé Stuart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ashcroft FC. When Mckinley Lopez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. A collision led to Ashcroft FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mckinley Lopez hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willian McCracken to strike the kick off in the second half. Noé Stuart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lynn Bravo in the 56th minute of play. When Arden Velasquez fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lynn Bravo in the 61st minute of play forced Sundown FC's goalkeeper Noé Stuart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Sundown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryon Swift to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Harrison Desruisseaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ashcroft FC's Daryl Corbett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian McCracken in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Willian McCracken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daryl Corbett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daryl Corbett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freeman Silva in the 78th minute. A collision led to Ashcroft FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Stacey Hemphill hit a great ball. Denny Dumont was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sundown FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
