It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 4th minute, but Jamie Hurley got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Dover FC hanging dry this time. 6 minutes into the match, Derval FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeromy Larson came free, but Hippolyte Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Lowell Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derval FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lowell Sanchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dover FC's Agustin Johnson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jamie Hurley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lowell Sanchez in the 18th minute. Julius Castle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hippolyte Hyde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lowell Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Hurley having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rich L'Anglais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derval FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rich L'Anglais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamie Hurley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rich L'Anglais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jamie Hurley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hippolyte Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Castle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Timmons hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rich L'Anglais made a kick off. Dover FC's Jamie Hurley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rich L'Anglais in the 58th minute of play. Lowell Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dover FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agustin Johnson in the 75th minute. Dover FC's Agustin Johnson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hippolyte Hyde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 80 minutes into the game, Derval FC's Lowell Sanchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jamie Hurley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Margarito Valle struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jamie Hurley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derval FC. 89 minutes into the match, Dover FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lowell Sanchez came free, but Jamie Hurley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rich L'Anglais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamie Hurley having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Jerrod Lévesque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
