Spectators: 6753 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Henry Barrett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jérôme Newsome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Barrett in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jérôme Newsome saved Carden FC from getting behind. A collision led to Carden FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dion Jodion hit a great ball. Carden FC's Jérôme Newsome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyson Mott in the 10th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carden FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Jarred Turgeon shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyson Mott in the 23rd minute of play forced Carden FC's goalkeeper Jérôme Newsome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Howick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarred Turgeon to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Eli Willis made a precise shot to the right of Walter Vaughn. Howick FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a little luck, Howick FC's Walter Vaughn got control of the ball when Eli Willis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Barrett in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jérôme Newsome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eli Willis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, Howick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Lyon to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Léon McCormick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Carden FC's goalkeeper Jérôme Newsome had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasper Lyon. Carden FC's Lucien Gareau was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Walter Vaughn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 61 minutes, Léon McCormick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carden FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léon McCormick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Carden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tyson Mott came free, but Jérôme Newsome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Tyson Mott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carden FC's Jérôme Newsome was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 minutes of play, Howick FC's Henry Barrett made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jérôme Newsome was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henry Barrett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jérôme Newsome read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Léon McCormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Walter Vaughn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Léon McCormick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyson Mott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyson Mott's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jérôme Newsome read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Tyson Mott recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jérôme Newsome. Tyson Mott showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When Léon McCormick came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Carden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léon McCormick couldn't finish the play. Howick FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
