Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Morin got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Flowers during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Raymundo McDonough came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Shemogue AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymundo McDonough couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute of the match Bennett Villanueva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donnie Key showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Hubert Grandpré hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, Shemogue AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cameron Rouleau to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Morin in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donnie Key prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jesse Holland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donnie Key having to interfere. A collision led to Shemogue AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alvaro Blair hit a great ball. Jesse Holland struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Donnie Key didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comber. Raymundo McDonough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Tremblay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Arellano in the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Comber's zone, Stacey Arellano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Tremblay came out of the goal and Stacey Arellano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stacey Arellano to make the kick off. A collision led to Comber getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Leslie Crain hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Absolon Aviles sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Comber's Bruno Tremblay didn't even have to move. After having played for 59 minutes, Jesse Holland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comber's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesse Holland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Hubert Grandpré hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donnie Key showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Morin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 73rd match minute, Shemogue AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Grandpré to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Shemogue AFC's goalkeeper Donnie Key, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Morin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donnie Key was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Stacey Arellano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clyde Grier hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Shemogue AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
