The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aubrey Jordan during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Glenelg AFC's Jerold Conley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Ford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carmen Rubin struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Pablo Watkins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for McDame. Pablo Watkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmen Rubin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in McDame's zone, Jerold Conley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Ford came out of the goal and Jerold Conley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aubrey Jordan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Ford made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jerold Conley sent off a good shot on target. Ian Ford was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sanford German showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. The supporters of McDame booed when Glenelg AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Woodson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanford German in the 46th minute of play forced McDame's goalkeeper Ian Ford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sanford German was the one to do the kick off. Aubrey Jordan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Pablo Watkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Jerold Conley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Ford. McDame's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerold Conley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Pablo Watkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmen Rubin in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Glenelg AFC's Chester Atkinson got a free kick in the 59th minute. Carmen Rubin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pablo Watkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match, Aubrey Jordan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pablo Watkins saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jefferey Binet kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Carmen Rubin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, McDame's Aubrey Jordan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 83 minutes into the match, Glenelg AFC's goalkeeper Pablo Watkins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmen Rubin. After having played for 88 minutes, Aubrey Jordan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McDame's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aubrey Jordan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rémi Chamberlain kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Glenelg AFC's zone, Carmen Rubin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Watkins came out of the goal and Carmen Rubin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. McDame's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
