Spectators: 6760 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 0) Tyson Mott made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Shemogue AFC booed when Howick FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarred Turgeon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Shemogue AFC's Raymundo McDonough made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Vaughn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th match minute, Shemogue AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Rios to maneuver through the defense. Henry Barrett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donnie Key having to interfere. Tyson Mott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donnie Key made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Barrett in the 42nd minute. If Henry Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubert Grandpré hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Henry Barrett sped through Shemogue AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donnie Key. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raymundo McDonough stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Lucio Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shemogue AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Lucio Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Barrett took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donnie Key. Donnie Key dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymundo McDonough in the 69th minute of play forced Howick FC's goalkeeper Walter Vaughn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jasper Lyon hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Lucio Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Walter Vaughn made a huge save. Henry Barrett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymundo McDonough in the 83rd minute of play forced Howick FC's goalkeeper Walter Vaughn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, Howick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Lyon to maneuver through the defense. If Raymundo McDonough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jasper Lyon fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Howick FC's protests and gave Jasper Lyon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Howick FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jasper Lyon hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Étienne Maddox during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Shemogue AFC's Étienne Maddox got a free kick in the 89th minute. Shemogue AFC's Donnie Key played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Barrett in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Shemogue AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
