Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eli Willis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sherwood Duclos charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sherwood Duclos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Rigoulette AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sherwood Duclos. 10 minutes into the match, Carden FC's Lucien Gareau broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Rigoulette AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Wilford Ricard hit a great ball. A hard shot by Lucien Gareau from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Ermenegilde Stiles's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 16th minute Deandre Avila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jérôme Newsome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Eli Willis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ermenegilde Stiles to make any attempt to save it. 27 minutes into the game, Marshall Wilkins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rigoulette AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carden FC the free kick. The supporters of Carden FC booed when Rigoulette AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marshall Wilkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Dion Jodion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maria Whalen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jérôme Newsome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rigoulette AFC's zone, Eli Willis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermenegilde Stiles came out of the goal and Eli Willis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermenegilde Stiles made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Blaise Sprague sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deandre Avila to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Carden FC's Jérôme Newsome got control of the ball when Maria Whalen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Rigoulette AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Blaise Sprague came free, but Ermenegilde Stiles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eli Willis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Rigoulette AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sherwood Duclos. Deandre Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carden FC! Jérôme Newsome had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Wilford Ricard's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carden FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wilford Ricard was slow to take the kick. During this time Rigoulette AFC's players had a chance to rest. Ermenegilde Stiles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Willis in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Carden FC's Eli Willis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermenegilde Stiles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Jérôme Newsome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deandre Avila in the 73rd minute of play. Blaise Sprague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermenegilde Stiles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Willis, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Blaise Sprague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Carden FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lucien Gareau hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Rigoulette AFC were awarded a corner. Wilford Ricard went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Solomon Rosas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Charest during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roger Charest hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Maria Whalen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rigoulette AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maria Whalen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jérôme Newsome breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deandre Avila in the 97th minute of play forced Carden FC's goalkeeper Jérôme Newsome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carden FC fully deserved thier win.
