McDame's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comber the free kick. Orval Case hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, McDame's Frank Stubbs got a free kick in the 4th minute. Moises Mott kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, McDame's Nigel Coffman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 10th match minute, Comber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Mott to maneuver through the defense. Aubrey Jordan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bruno Tremblay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Comber's Moises Mott got a free kick in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the game, McDame's Aubrey Jordan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Tremblay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 21st match minute, Comber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Terrell to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Carmen Rubin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bruno Tremblay, passed just outside the right post. In the 25th minute Gustavo Morin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Ford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Ford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Morin, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Comber getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Christian Terrell hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Christian Terrell had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The supporters of Comber booed when McDame was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Vick didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Moises Mott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comber's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Mott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Ford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jesse Holland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ian Ford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, McDame was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jourdain Willett to maneuver through the defense. Ian Ford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesse Holland in the 45th minute of play. Ian Ford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesse Holland in the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aubrey Jordan to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Comber's goal looked a bit too open when Aubrey Jordan came free, but Bruno Tremblay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesse Holland's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Ian Ford skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Jesse Holland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesse Holland couldn't finish the play. The McDame players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
