The tension between the Murdochville FC and the Comber players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bennett Villanueva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcellin Bourgeau. Murdochville FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute, Gustavo Morin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murdochville FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gustavo Morin 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Morin in the 26th minute of play forced Murdochville FC's goalkeeper Marcellin Bourgeau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Christian Terrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Comber's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murdochville FC the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Comber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Terrell to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Murdochville FC's Jesse Holloway nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Tremblay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Comber's Bruno Tremblay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Holloway in the 33rd minute of play. If Jesse Holloway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesse Holloway in the 40th minute of play forced Comber's goalkeeper Bruno Tremblay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Terrell kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Comber's Bruno Tremblay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Raines in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Raines in the 44th minute of play forced Comber's goalkeeper Bruno Tremblay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesse Holloway to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jesse Holloway got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Raines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Tremblay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Jesse Holland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Morin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Marcellin Bourgeau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comber. Clyde Grier kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Gustavo Morin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellin Bourgeau having to interfere. With a little luck, Comber's Bruno Tremblay got control of the ball when Bruno Raines tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match Bennett Villanueva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcellin Bourgeau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustavo Morin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellin Bourgeau having to interfere. Bruno Tremblay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesse Holloway in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Murdochville FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Duncan Bliss hit a great ball. Bruno Raines took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Tremblay. Bruno Tremblay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Marcellin Bourgeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Morin in the 97th minute of the match. The Comber supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Murdochville FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Murdochville FC.
