Deandre Avila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Donnie Key tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoulette AFC's Ermenegilde Stiles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stacey Arellano in the 20th minute of play. Giovanni Pierre kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Stacey Arellano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ermenegilde Stiles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Arellano in the 29th minute of the match. If Stacey Arellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermenegilde Stiles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymundo McDonough in the 39th minute of play. Rigoulette AFC's Deandre Avila got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donnie Key made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deandre Avila in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Stacey Arellano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The long shot by Absolon Aviles in the 77th minute really tested Ermenegilde Stiles's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Raymundo McDonough in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ermenegilde Stiles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Shemogue AFC's Antoine Carrington suffered a fractured collar bone after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sherwood Duclos hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, Shemogue AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stacey Arellano to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Raymundo McDonough had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermenegilde Stiles. Rigoulette AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raymundo McDonough was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Donnie Key showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maria Whalen, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Shemogue AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
