The referee ignored Delhi's protests and gave Jason Childs a yellow card for diving instead. Delhi's Richard Spears played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Holland in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Comber booed when Delhi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Chaloux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesse Holland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Spears having to interfere. Delhi's Jason Childs pulled a muscle in his back after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game.
