Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Murdochville FC's goalkeeper Marcellin Bourgeau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daren Sizemore. After 7 minutes of play, Murdochville FC's Jesse Holloway made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Huey Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, Murdochville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Raines came free, but Huey Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesse Holloway scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Huey Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daren Sizemore struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Marcellin Bourgeau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murdochville AFC. Daren Sizemore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marcellin Bourgeau made a huge save. Florencio Keller hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Marcellin Bourgeau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lincoln Muller's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Jesse Holloway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lincoln Muller made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Germain Busque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murdochville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germain Busque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Germain Busque fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murdochville FC's protests and gave Germain Busque a yellow card for diving instead. Germain Busque kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Marcellin Bourgeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daren Sizemore in the 60th minute of the match. Marcellin Bourgeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lincoln Muller in the 62nd minute of play. Marcellin Bourgeau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lincoln Muller went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Lincoln Muller kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Raines got free with Huey Varela in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Raines struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Huey Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murdochville FC. Huey Varela made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Bruno Raines sent off a good shot on target. Daren Sizemore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellin Bourgeau having to interfere. If Daren Sizemore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daren Sizemore in the 98th minute of play forced Murdochville FC's goalkeeper Marcellin Bourgeau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Murdochville FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
