Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Morin got the match started through his kick off. Jesse Holland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérôme Newsome having to interfere. Gustavo Morin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jérôme Newsome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eli Willis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes of play, Comber's Gustavo Morin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jérôme Newsome was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute of the match Conrad Goins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Tremblay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carden FC's Jérôme Newsome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Morin in the 19th minute of play. Blaise Sprague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesse Holland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jérôme Newsome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Morin in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jérôme Newsome saved Carden FC from getting behind. Bruno Tremblay came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carden FC's Eli Willis. But to his dismay, Eli Willis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jérôme Newsome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Morin in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Dion Jodion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carden FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comber the free kick. If Gustavo Morin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Tremblay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eli Willis in the 44th minute of the match. Bruno Tremblay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Willis in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Carden FC booed when Comber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Mott didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eli Willis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Eli Willis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Tremblay. The goal made the score 1-2. Eli Willis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Tremblay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Eli Willis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bruno Tremblay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Tremblay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Willis in the 76th minute of play. Blaise Sprague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Eli Willis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Comber's goal looked a bit too open when Eli Willis came free, but Bruno Tremblay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eli Willis came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Carden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eli Willis couldn't finish the play. Jesse Holland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérôme Newsome having to interfere.
