Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Eli Willis made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eli Willis in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donnie Key saved Shemogue AFC from getting behind. In the 6th minute, Eli Willis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carden FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Carden FC's Jérôme Newsome got control of the ball when Raymundo McDonough tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Eli Willis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carden FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eli Willis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donnie Key breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donnie Key showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eli Willis in the 16th minute of the match. If Stacey Arellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donnie Key didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dion Jodion went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Blaise Sprague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stacey Arellano made a kick off. Jérôme Newsome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stacey Arellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Donnie Key made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaise Sprague in the 57th minute of play. Roger Charest recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Raymundo McDonough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymundo McDonough in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jérôme Newsome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Eli Willis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymundo McDonough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jérôme Newsome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blaise Sprague got free with Donnie Key in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Stacey Arellano fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shemogue AFC's protests and gave Stacey Arellano a yellow card for diving instead. Stacey Arellano hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Shemogue AFC's goalkeeper Donnie Key had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blaise Sprague. If Blaise Sprague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Carden FC's Dion Jodion got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Carden FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carden FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
