Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tyson Mott took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Howick FC's zone, Jesse Holland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Vaughn came out of the goal and Jesse Holland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Werner Davenport fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Howick FC's protests and gave Werner Davenport a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Howick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Davenport to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Bennett Villanueva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarred Turgeon in the 11th minute of play forced Comber's goalkeeper Bruno Tremblay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Gustavo Morin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walter Vaughn. Gustavo Morin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Comber's Gustavo Morin got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of Howick FC booed when Comber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bennett Villanueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Comber's Bruno Tremblay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Barrett in the 23rd minute of play. Jasper Lyon's late challenge caught a Comber's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jasper Lyon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Jasper Lyon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Vaughn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesse Holland in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Comber's Jesse Holland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Henry Barrett came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Howick FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Barrett couldn't finish the play. Bruno Tremblay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Barrett's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Henry Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bruno Tremblay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tyson Mott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 51st match minute, Comber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duane Corbett to maneuver through the defense. Comber's Bruno Tremblay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Comber from getting a goal against them. Tyson Mott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bruno Tremblay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Comber got a freekick which was hit by Gene Overton. Tyson Mott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Tremblay having to interfere. Gustavo Morin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Vaughn having to interfere. If Gustavo Morin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bruno Tremblay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Howick FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dustin Petit hit a great ball. Walter Vaughn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Holland, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Comber's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
