After a defensive mix-up in Glenelg AFC's zone, Jesse Holland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Watkins came out of the goal and Jesse Holland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Comber's Gustavo Morin in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glenelg AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sanford German kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Tremblay. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Morin made a kick off. Duane Corbett charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duane Corbett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Comber getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Pablo Watkins successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustavo Morin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerold Conley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bruno Tremblay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Glenelg AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Comber had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
