The supporters of Carden FC booed when Glenelg AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferey Binet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léon McCormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Pablo Watkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sanford German received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jérôme Newsome came out and tried to block the shot, but Sanford German slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Jefferey Binet kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Glenelg AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chester Atkinson. Sanford German sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, one of Carden FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léon McCormick in the 25th minute of play forced Glenelg AFC's goalkeeper Pablo Watkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match, Sanford German tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jérôme Newsome saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jérôme Newsome made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerold Conley in the 31st minute. Jefferey Binet charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jefferey Binet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jefferey Binet hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jérôme Newsome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanford German in the 37th minute of the match. Léon McCormick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Eli Willis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carden FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eli Willis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Watkins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sanford German to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Eli Willis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 92nd minute Jefferey Binet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jérôme Newsome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sanford German's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jérôme Newsome was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Carden FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
