Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Long Snell made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Leopoldo Law hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clyde Trépanier came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Aillik's Long Snell. But to his dismay, Long Snell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Aillik's Long Snell in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xeneise's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute of the match Aillik got a corner. Xeneise's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignacio Peck ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aillik's Ignacio Peck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Clyde Trépanier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Boris Bouchard was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Aillik:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xeneise:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ambroise Mercure, was totally fooled by Xeneise's Emon Pouchard, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 27 minutes into the match, Xeneise's Archie Swain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambroise Mercure narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrien Belanger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambroise Mercure having to interfere. Florentin Sansouci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Clyde Trépanier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Florentin Sansouci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aillik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentin Sansouci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Xeneise's Adrien Belanger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ambroise Mercure. That made the score 2-1 after 44 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrien Belanger to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Aillik's Florentin Sansouci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clyde Trépanier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ambroise Mercure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrien Belanger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Walton Cornell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clyde Trépanier made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Florentin Sansouci sent off a good shot on target. Clyde Trépanier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florentin Sansouci showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 62 minute of play. After 66 played minutes Xeneise got a freekick which was hit by Willian Mosley. Leopoldo Law kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Florentin Sansouci came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Aillik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentin Sansouci couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Aillik getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Raleigh Molina hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aillik had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
