Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Peng Ling in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clyde Trépanier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrien Belanger in the 26th minute of play forced Honey Badgers FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Playo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Archie Swain came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Xeneise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Archie Swain couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Law came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eustaquio Playo could save by the left post. Shi Peng Ling struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Clyde Trépanier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honey Badgers FC. Clyde Trépanier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Peng Ling in the 43rd minute of play. Eustaquio Playo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Xeneise's Archie Swain shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shi Peng Ling made a kick off. After 71 minutes of play, Honey Badgers FC's Shi Peng Ling made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Trépanier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Peng Ling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachary Tobin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Honey Badgers FC played a much better game than Xeneise and deserved their victory. The Xeneise players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
