Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jon Salter kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Spurfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Salter came free, but Rudolph Pearce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porter Pelchat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Pearce having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon Salter in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudolph Pearce saved Spurfield AFC from getting behind. If Ramon Page had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Spurfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Harlan Walker. In the 14th minute of the match Manual Gould sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudolph Pearce skillfully saved the ball. Rudolph Pearce came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ituna FC's Jon Salter. But to his dismay, Jon Salter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Ituna FC booed when Spurfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryon Jewell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, Ituna FC's Manual Gould shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rudolph Pearce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ituna FC reached it. Spurfield AFC's Marcellin Sierra got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marcellin Sierra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Russell Sprague was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ituna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spurfield AFC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Ituna FC got a freekick which was hit by Russell Sprague. A hard shot by Gregory Hatcher from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Delbert Gorman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Fausto Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ituna FC's protests and gave Fausto Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. Ramon Page sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Ituna FC got a freekick which was hit by Russell Sprague. Ituna FC's Delbert Gorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcellin Sierra in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Jon Salter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Pearce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ituna FC booed when Spurfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merle Looney didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Jon Salter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ituna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Salter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rudolph Pearce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porter Pelchat in the 36th minute of play. Jon Salter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Pearce having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Jon Salter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ituna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Salter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcellin Sierra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delbert Gorman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Delbert Gorman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Page went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

1-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Jon Salter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Jon Salter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kelvin Mullins came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Spurfield AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kelvin Mullins couldn't finish the play. When Spurfield AFC's Marcellin Sierra in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ituna FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rudolph Pearce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Salter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delbert Gorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcellin Sierra in the 71st minute of play. Ramon Page might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delbert Gorman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Page ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, Spurfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Salter came free, but Rudolph Pearce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Spurfield AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Harlan Walker hit a great ball. Ituna FC's Porter Pelchat got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delbert Gorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Page in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Ituna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Page came free, but Delbert Gorman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolph Pearce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Porter Pelchat in the 88th minute. Rudolph Pearce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Salter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Porter Pelchat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Rudolph Pearce made a huge save. If Porter Pelchat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ituna FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
