Carlton Grove didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spurfield AFC. In the 17th minute of the match, Chauncey Braden tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rudolph Pearce saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcellin Sierra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Grove having to interfere. Marcellin Sierra might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlton Grove. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcellin Sierra ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlton Grove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcellin Sierra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcellin Sierra in the 31st minute of play forced Michellton FC's goalkeeper Carlton Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Holloway kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Page got free with Carlton Grove in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlton Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcellin Sierra in the 56th minute of the match. Kelvin Mullins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlton Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcellin Sierra in the 68th minute of the match. Dee Peralta kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Marcellin Sierra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spurfield AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcellin Sierra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlton Grove breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Carlton Grove managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Spurfield AFC's Ramon Page fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Michellton FC were furious when Kermit Britt was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 75 minutes into the game, one of Michellton FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Merle Looney during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Spurfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merle Looney to maneuver through the defense. Lenny Bourget fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Pearce having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Lenny Bourget got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Spurfield AFC's Ramon Page got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
