Porter Byers started the match with the kick off. Young D'Avis kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Young D'Avis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Oakburn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Young D'Avis to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Shi Peng Ling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. René Desjardins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micah Doyon in the 19th minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, Honey Badgers FC's Zachary Tobin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. René Desjardins was left in no man's land by his defense there! René Desjardins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Oakburn getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Young D'Avis hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Géraud Burgess got free with Eustaquio Playo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Higinio Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Desjardins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Shi Peng Ling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oakburn's René Desjardins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hipolito Labrie kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Honey Badgers FC's Higinio Rodriguez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Oakburn. Porter Byers charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Porter Byers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Porter Byers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Shi Peng Ling notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Oakburn's René Desjardins. René Desjardins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Oakburn getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Géraud Burgess hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shi Peng Ling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. René Desjardins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Peng Ling, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Oakburn's zone, Shi Peng Ling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Desjardins came out of the goal and Shi Peng Ling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Honey Badgers FC's René Desjardins threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shi Peng Ling, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. René Desjardins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Peng Ling, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jamie Bernier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honey Badgers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie Bernier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. René Desjardins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. René Desjardins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Peng Ling's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Oakburn's René Desjardins got control of the ball when Shi Peng Ling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jamie Bernier struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. René Desjardins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honey Badgers FC. Oakburn's René Desjardins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Oakburn from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Oakburn's zone, Shi Peng Ling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Desjardins came out of the goal and Shi Peng Ling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honey Badgers FC played a much better game than Oakburn and deserved their victory. The Oakburn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
